Local origin, knowledge of the sea

Kofradia Basque is the Kofradia Basque Seafood range that brings together all locally sourced fish, from both inshore and offshore fishing, that enters our ports. This project stems from a deep understanding of our fishing grounds, the experience accumulated over generations, and a direct connection to the Cantabrian Sea.
We know where, when, and how the best fish is caught.
We know how to read the sea, respect its rhythms, and work with each species at the optimal time, always from a responsible fishing perspective that protects marine ecosystems and guarantees the future of the resource.
The inshore fishing that gives rise to Kofradia Basque is carried out in a traditional and extractive manner, using selective gear that minimizes impact and protects the environment. All fish comply with MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) certification, guaranteeing sustainable practices, traceability, and respect for the sea.
Kofradia Basque is the closest expression of origin: local fish, caught with knowledge, care and responsibility.
